My Thirteenth Week
First of all, we looked at augmented reality in english learning this week. When we look at the difference between virtual reality and augmented reality, AR usually includes visuals, videos, audio content, 3D, etc., adapted to real life on a smartphone, while VR consists of a virtual world completely disconnected from real life and is usually used over a headset with 3D feature. Pokemon go or Ikea can be given as examples for AR. AR consists of three types: Image-based AR, Creation based and Markerless based. Before talking about the types, we looked at a site where you can learn languages with AR, namely Mondly. On this site, it is as if you are talking with an animated character in real life and you learn the language in this way. In my opinion, it is a very interesting and efficient site.
